an old fashioned christmas

I love this time of year.

I love decorating my house.

Sometimes I may go a little overboard.

But can you really go overboard at Christmas?

Enjoy some of our pictures.

The girls' tree

Our tree

Chad spent a lot of time clipping in each bulb... (my request...)

And of course, the reason for it all...

Only 23 days left!

Actually, Katie, I would LOVE to come and decorate your house. I really do love doing it! I don't really have the "skills" to do it and it doesn't necessarily mean it'll look that great, I just enjoy it. Unfortunately, I probably won't be back in O-town until Christmas... can you wait that long? :)

Love the pictures! You are a professional decorator, photographer and blogger! I have so much to learn...

A few observations:
*Tate needs a stocking
*I love pic #2 with the bulbs and "Barley Twist Pedastol". I used to sell SL@H and have the same one! :)

Fun pics!!!

I know, I know... Tate needs a stocking. I tried to get Chad to let me just buy some, but he really likes the "homemade" look. So... as soon as I find time I'll have to get on that. But does Tate really need a stocking this year? It's not like he'll ever know...

And wow, I guess that is the Barley Twist pedastol! I had a party like seven years ago or so and got that for just $12 and I still love it!
